Hampton, Virginia-raised DRAM, born Shelley Massenburg-Smith, stepped into the music scene over three years ago. Inspired by a range of soundscapes and artists, from George Clinton, Bilal, to Dipset and Snoop Dogg, he garnered success with his #1EpicSummerEP which was released in September 2014 and featured buzz single, “Cha Cha.” Fueled by the 6X-Platinum hit single, “Broccoli feat. Lil Yachty,” DRAM introduced his debut album BIG BABY DRAM in 2016. Fast forward to 2018, the Gorillaz collaborator is gold-certified with Grammy, Billboard Music and MTV Music Award nomations under his belt. Now, he releases his new EP ‘That’s a Girls Name’.
